This 1986 Porsche 930 was given a full Ruf (pronounced: roof) BTR III assortment in Massachusetts in 1987 including gauges, intercooler, wheels, 5-speed upgrade, suspension, steering wheel, brakes, badges, and more. Turbos look great in black because it hides all the rubber bumper and wing components, and the dark red interior in this one gives a nice contrast. The car is claimed to have only 51k miles, and to have had a fresh rebuild if the 410 horsepower 3.4L engine. Stock Turbos are cool, but this is cooler. Find it listed three days ago here on Craigslist in Massachusetts for $65k.

These wheels are just fantastic, and look just as good here as they did on the Yellowbird, the mid-year by which all others are judged. We are thrilled to see no tinted windows on this car, but would change to Euro amber rear turn signal lenses.

The matching burgundy steering wheel and full gauge assortment including 8k tach are awesome period pieces. We know several 930 owners who insist on the factory 4-speed being perfect for these engines, but Ruf obviously felt otherwise.

Engine specs are not detailed, but it does include Electromotive crank-fired ignition and the open element K&N filter shown below. California residents may need to think twice about this car for smog reasons
