This 1965 NSU Spider (chassis 5601470) is one of about 2,400 made, very few of which were exported to the US. The world’s first Wankel-powered production car, this one looks largely complete but will need a full restoration. With few left and parts likely nearly impossible to come by, getting this one back on the road will take serious commitment, especially if its original single-rotor is retained in favor of a Mazda replacement–here’s hoping it keeps the German motor.
